To our visitors ...
 The 15th Annual (2007) Mesilla Valley Balloon Festival is similar in its format to previous festivals. If you would like to see what earlier events looked like, re-visit the 2000 Balloon , 2003 Balloon and 2006 Balloon pages for additional images and other links ... hosted by the 2 on the left.
The 2007 edition was in the new location on the outskirts of the city. The day was cool (39 degrees) but not overly cold ... the sunrise on time and typical for southern New Mexico, although not spectacular. The morning dawned with nary a breeze which could have affected the ascension. The sky was devoid of clouds and looked promising. Shooting images of the balloons on the ground and in flight was ideal, for the morning light was intense ... allowing the full spectrum of color of the balloons to shine bright. The results we show here, combined with the earlier web pages, are indicative of the sea of color that greets the visitor. Enjoy our images.
